This past weekend I lost my father early morning at the hospital. He was on the cardiac unit for about a month and the last week he was in the cardiac ICU for heart complications. Receiving dialysis on a consisted basis, along with lots of medications were treatments helping him with his congestive heart failure but doctors gave us a call saying he wasn’t doing well overnight. Me and my sister got the call saying he wasn’t going to make it past the weekend and to go see him before his passing. Sadly, I wasn’t able to reach my dad on time to be there by his side to give my final goodbyes. My heart bares this lost with tremendous weight and pain. I want to be able to give my father what he always gave to me and my family for so many years growing up. He went above and beyond for us. Gave us whatever we wanted with no hesitation in his mind and heart. Stayed up studying with my sister and I with our school homework. I just want to be able to lay him to rest and give back to him one last time. Me and my family thank you to all who can give a small donation to a father who gave everything for his family.
