Many words come to mind when one thinks of Jose (or “Rigo” to those closest to him). Selfless, earnest, enthusiastic, curious, righteous, goofy, empathetic; to say the least. A passionate husband and tender father. A fiercely devout man of God. His life was lived in complete sacrifice to God, family, friends, and absolutely anyone who was lucky enough to have crossed his path. A physical embodiment of pure love.

Jose Alvarenga peacefully passed away, in the embrace of those closest to him. As difficult as this experience was, solace is found in the fact that he is undoubtedly home in heaven. An angel just as he was on earth. Reunited with his mother and father, surrounded by the beautifully brilliant glory of God.

Jose is survived by his wife Marta, daughter Ashley, and son Caleb. As the sole breadwinner of his home, I write to everyone here as a call for aid. Marta and Caleb have a very long and arduous road ahead of them as they navigate life in absence of their faithful provider.

My name is Anfon Dang, husband of Ashley Alvarenga and our goal for this fundraiser is to provide safety and security for our mother and brother, the sole beneficiaries. To give them the time, space, and freedom needed to grieve, heal and grow through this drastic change as life continues its unstoppable march forward. Their income has suddenly halted while their expenses have not.

Muchas palabras vienen a mi mente cuando pienso en Jose (“Rigo” para sus amigos). Generoso, serio, entusiasta, curioso, justo, sincero, empático, y muchas cosas más. Un esposo apasionado y un padre tierno. Un hombre de Dios ferozmente devoto. Sin duda alguna, un hombre quien entrego su vida en completo sirviendo a Dios, familia, amigos, y en todo aquel que tubo la suerte en cruzarse su camino. Un hombre con un corazón lleno de amor para con todos.

Jose Alvarenga falleció pacíficamente en compañía de su familia más cercana. Y por muy difícil que haya sido la experiencia, nuestro consuelo es que sin duda alguna el ha pasado de muerte a vida y ya mora en su hogar en el cielo como el ángel que él era en la tierra. Ahora el esta reunido con su madre y padre, rodeado de la hermosa y brillante gloria de Dios.

A Jose le sobrevive su esposa Marta, su hija Ashley, y su hijo Caleb. Como único sostén de su casa, yo escribo a todo aquel quien tubo el placer de conocerle para que brinde su ayuda a la familia. Marta y Caleb tienen un camino muy duro y largo por delante mientras navegan por la vida en ausencia de su fiel proveedor.

Mi nombre es Anfon Dang, esposo de Ashley Alvarenga, y mi propósito para recaudar fondos es brindar seguridad a mi madre y cuñado, los únicos beneficiarios. Para darles el tiempo, el espacio y la libertad necesaria para llorar, sanar y crecer a través de este cambio drástico a medida que la vida continue en su avance imparable. Ayudemos a Jose, que tan generosamente nos presto su mano durante toda su vida.
