Jose Reyes Segovia, Gone too Soon

Donation protected

There are absolutely no words to describe this loss. A husband, a father, a son, a grandfather and more. The most kindhearted man, the sweetest soul. If you knew Jose, you know he had many trials and tribulations and continuously fought until the end. This was a very sudden loss and completely unbearable for everyone’s heart he touched.

On December 17, 2021, we decided to test Jose at home and he was positive for COVID-19. The next day, it was confirmed with a lab test. On December 20,2021, he was admitted to Mercy Gilbert for low oxygen levels and extreme fatigue. He then was discharged on December 23, 2021. On Christmas Eve morning, he was having a lot of trouble breathing and very low oxygen. So we decided to call the ambulance and he was admitted once again. On Christmas Day, he was intubated and sedated. The next week is a complete fog. He went from bad to worse within a matter of two days. On January 1,2022 at 6:45 PM, Jose Reyes Segovia, took his last breath at Banner Baywood.

January 1, 2022 we faced one of the greatest losses we could ever possibly imagine. We know you are all feeling it too. Soon, the bills will start piling in and we will need all the help we can get. If you would be ever so kind to consider helping our beloved mom, Jacinta to prepare for what is next..it would mean the world to us at this time. Thank you to everyone for all of your love and support.
