Jose Rene Ponce’s Funeral

Hello, 

Where do I even start. Today, may 2nd of 2020 my father, Jose Rene Ponce Lara  past away. He’s lungs were not working properly due to his pulmonary fibrosis properly which put a lot of stressed to his heart which caused his heart to stop. My father was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2014. He was given up to a year to live but As a man of God and as a Christian pastor, he prayed and put his life on God’s hand. He fought very hard for so long  to stay alive for my mom, my sisters and I but also for the congregation that God put on his hand. He wasn’t afraid of dying, he was afraid of leaving us alone he said. We are always in his mind. He let us know that we were the reason why he got up everyday and fought against that terrible disease. There were times when couldn’t even take 2 steps but he would always say “God will heal me. This will all pass” putting all his faith on God.  Amongst his suffering, he made everyone laugh! There was no sadness when he was around. He stole everyone’s heart with his love and kindness. I am happy to say that every day, we let him know how special he was, how much we loved him, what a wonderful husband he was, what a wonderful pastor he was and what a wonderful father he was. I know times are hard because of the Coronavirus and I’m very shy and humble to ask for your financial help to cover the funeral cost. Anything that you can donate would be of tremendous help. Please help us in this time of need.
