On July 24th, Jose Ramirez was hit by a reckless driver when he was driving home to see his family. Witnesses said, the reckless driver was passing vehicles illegally in a one lane street and the reckless driver lost control. The reckless driver rear ended Jose’s vehicle and smashing his car almost in half. He pushed Jose’s car to the opposite side of the incoming traffic and made his car spin and stopping close to the side walk. Jose’s car was completely totaled and people rushed to help him while the ambulance came. They took him to the hospital where they found out that he was bleeding internally. They had to take him into emergency surgery right away. He only had a couple of minutes to call his son and daughter to let them know he loves them. They had to do surgery because two of his main arteries burst and he was loosing a lot of blood. They gave him a lot of blood transfusion and more throughout the other surgeries. They also had to patch his liver from damage . The doctors had to leave his wound open for 2 days to monitor if there was still any internal bleeding. After the surgery came out well, they told us that he had to have right knee surgery, his pelvis needed screws and a plate because it was shattered, and two bones on his left arm that needed plates and screws as well. Since July 24th he has not talked to his kids or family. Couple of days ago they finished his last pelvis surgery. They found out that he got an infection in his blood, jaundice, and pneumonia in his right lung. He is currently taking strong antibiotics to fight the infections in his blood and right lung. As of right now Aug 8th, he is currently stabled trying to recover in ICU. He hasn’t had the chance to talk to his kids, family or friends since the accident on July 24th because he is still in need of the ventilator tube. So due to this major car accident, We won’t know an exact date when he will get out of the hospital. Jose Ramirez is a loving father for his kids and he is always in a happy mood. We are asking if anyone is able to donate, he is the provider for his kids and he is unable to pay his rent, school loans, home utility bills, any medical expenses, his school books got damaged in the accident, and any expenses he needs when coming out of hospital. Any amount of donations will be appreciated and we are currently praying to god that he will help Jose Ramirez recover well, so he can see his kids and family.
