In the early morning of February 22, my eldest brother passed unexpectedly. His loss has created a deep wound for all who knew and loved him.

We are raising money to help cover the cost of the overwhelming expenses that come with losing someone, especially as suddenly as we have.

Funds from this fundraiser will go towards covering funeral and burial expenses; what remains will go to his surviving wife and four beautiful children who will struggle immensely without their father.

My brother was a complicated person, as we all are, but we choose to remember him as someone who loved deeply and had a weird sense of humor. He loved to cook and try unique recipes. He worked in the healthcare field as a nurse. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 10 years and was stationed in both Afghanistan and Korea. Most importantly, he was a Son, a Brother, a Husband, a Father, and simply a Human Being.
