Hello, we are Jose's immediate family members. Unfortunately, Jose passed October, 5th. In the early morning hours.He is survived by his only daughter, Angelina which is only 13 years of age. As of now Jose's official cause of death hasn't been released. They say it's still an ongoing investigation since he was "in custody" . But we will be requesting all bodycam footage and hospital/police reports, so we can review them and make sure there wasn't any negligence, excessive force, or denial of medical assistance behalf of the riverside PD. We will update when official cause of death has been released or we get any new information.

As for this fundraiser, we are hoping to cover atleast half of the funeral expenses. Whatever you can help us with at this time is and will be very much appreciated.
