Jose Luis Angeles Recovery Fund

This Go Fund Me page was created to benefit Jose Luis Angeles in his recovery and rehabilitation. 

Anything you can donate to assist with expenses related to his medical needs and supporting his family during this difficult time is greatly appreciated.  The situation is really urgent and these funds will help Jose Luis cover mounting hospital bills and provide for his family.

Jose Luis is a hard working man and loving father currently facing an unimaginable situation.  After a bravely fought battle, he lost his wife Noelia Duverge on 3/2/2019 to metastatic stage IV cancer.  He was left to care for their 6 yr old daughter Bryanna Angeles and his 17 yr old stepdaughter Arianna Difo.  Losing their mother was devastating to the girls and Jose Luis was left without his companion and life partner forever.

As he began to understand what life would be like without Noelia and tried to cope and rise up to the challenges of raising the children by himself, Jose Luis had a stroke.  As you can imagine, the events of the last two months have left the girls without a mom and now without a father to care for and protect them.  The family dynamic has been negatively impacted by these unexpected events.  It is only because of the support of family and friends that we continue to hope and pray, that the girls will be okay and he will be able to have a functional life as their father.

Jose Luis has been hospitalized since 4/23/19, when he suffered the stroke.  He has physical paralysis of his right side and cognitive delays.  He has limited access to short/long term memories and has a long way to recovery.  He will not be able to work for a long time and has to undergo arduous rehab and physical therapy.

Jose Luis was the family's main provider and his income, the sole financial resource the girls counted on.  Now due to his inability to work and his expected long term rehabilitation and numerous medical needs, the family desperately needs help.
