Jose Leon and Family

Jose is a proud, hardworking husband and father of 5 children ranging in age from 1 to 17. He has been hospitalized since March 2022 battling Valley Fever. During this trying time, his wife has only been able to work part time while caring and providing for their children and supporting Jose’s recovery.

Although we hope that Jose will be released from the hospital soon, we have no idea when that will be, much less when he might be able to return to work. Doctors say that even when Jose is released, his full recovery will likely take years. The medication he will need to take once at home exceeds thousands of dollars a month, which insurance has not yet authorized.

Those who know Jose know what a physically, mentally and emotionally challenging time this is for him. The family appreciates any help you might be able to provide.
