To our family and friends who have asked and reached out about how to they can help. I am the niece of Joe Molina and on behalf of my cousins Jojo and Jesus Molina we set up this GoFundMe account for funeral expenses.
Thank you to all who have been making or taking meals during this hard time. For those who didn’t know, my tio was diagnosed with Dementia that started a few years ago and over these years it had gotten worse. Along with that, he recently had a massive stroke that created a hemorrhage in the brain which cause permanent brain damage. The doctors were able to relive the pressure but following the surgery Tio Joe fell into a coma at that time they provided the family with an option which Jesus and Jojo decided to bring their father home on Hospice to spend these last moments together.
Tio Joe peacefully passed away in his home on Wednesday February 24, 2021. He was the kind of man who nobody messed with but these last few years he was able to be more expressive with how he showed his love. He always wore his RAIDERS hat, was well respected by his family and friends, enjoyed walks around town most days, and he was also a Jokester who loved to go the Casino.
Tio Joe also served his country in the US Marine core. His boys will tell you and even I remember many mornings tio Joe would say “1,2,3,4 ....” and we kids would finish the saying and say “...I love the Marine core.” He will me truly be missed.
Again thank you and please continue to keep the Molina Family in your prayers during this time. "Semper Fidelis" -Always Faithful
