Jose and Liza need your help to cover expenses.

Liza, received a call on Sunday 1/22/23 at 1 AM from a hospital out-of-state, letting her know that her son had been involved in a horrific incident; where he was shot, and underwent emergency surgery.

Without skipping a beat, she immediately booked the next flight, packed her bags, and left to be by her son's side in a trauma ICU.

1 week has gone by, he remains in the ICU, recovery for him has been slow and painful; Liza is out of time off at work, but her maternal love for her baby doesn't let her leave his side. Doctors warn that his recovery may take more time, and the medical bills keep piling.

Jose, Liza's son, needs his mom by his side to make the journey of recovery slightly less painful. Unable to see his two children, and struggling with the current situation he is in; having mom by his side brings him the strength to continue.

The funds collected will be used to cover the basic needs Liza and Jose will have during their time away from home, while Jose focuses on getting well enough to be able to transfer to a center closer to Miami.
