José Alfredos Health Insurance Need

Hello, my name is Maria and I am raising funds to help my little nephew in Mexico. José Alfredo was born prematurely with his little intestines out. He’s had 3 surgeries to try to put his intestines back in. We’re now waiting for more labs and tests. Mexico is hard right now, my uncle is trying to get his grandson and daughter health insurance “seguro” as you say in Mexico. The insurance offices are not letting him get healthcare for just the baby, they are requiring it for mom as well, this cost is much more than my uncle has, yet is needed. Baby is still admitted in Guadalajara, traveling 2hrs away every week, renting rooms to stay near the hospital in addition to food, has been tough for the family.

We’ve been helping with what we can, and with little time are unable to come up with the money right away.
