Josalyn Sok Moeung was an incredible daughter, sister, and a friend to all. She always had a smile on her face and a bright and warm presence. She lit up every room she walked in to. She was extremely driven, graduating from Christopher High School a year early while also taking college classes. Her goal was to pursue a career as a Child Life Specialist. After helping cancer patients while at Stanford, she was given an honorary Child Life Specialist Certification.

On February 24th 2020, Josalyn was diagnosed with Stage 3 AML Leukemia. After undergoing 3 rounds of chemotherapy, Josalyn was cancer free in May of 2020. She then received a stem cell transplant from her brother.

Josalyn was readmitted to the hospital in November due to a high fever. She passed on Friday, February 12th, 2021 at the age of 17. All proceeds will be going to her family to help with medical and funeral expenses.
