Jo's Recovery

Hey everyone,

I've made this fundraiser to ask for your help with my dear friend, Joanna. As some of you may know, Joanna is a dedicated medical technologist who's been facing a tough health battle for the past few years.

The good news is that after a four-year struggle to access the treatment she desperately needed, she finally secured a spot in a treatment program starting May 7th! This is a huge step forward in her recovery journey, and we're all so incredibly happy for her.

The not-so-good news is that Joanna's disability benefits won't cover all her living expenses while she focuses on getting healthy. This could mean losing her beloved car, Ron Burgundy, her home she painstakingly renovated herself, or having to move away from her support system in Victoria - all things that would weigh heavily on her and hinder her recovery.

Unfortunately, her family is unable to help financially, and knowing Joanna, she'd never ask for help herself, and that's why I'm stepping in.

Joanna is a creative and passionate person. She loves the great outdoors and her cat, Misty. She's chomping at the bit to get back to work to help address the shortage of lab techs and get back to her normal life creating stained glass works, hiking, camping, and paddleboarding.

Unfortunately, a series of setbacks have limited her access to credit. She is also ineligible for government assistance because she has a good job waiting for her. This leaves her in a precarious financial situation and unable to manage mounting debts and essential expenses while she is in treatment.

This is where you come in!

I'm reaching out to raise some funds to help Joanna bridge this gap. Any amount you can contribute, big or small, will make a world of difference. It will allow her to focus on getting better without the added stress of financial worries.

Joanna is a fighter, and with your help, she can finally win this battle and get back to doing what she loves - helping others.
