Hi my name is Jo, I am a Black trans non binary person who is raising funds for an upcoming gender affirming surgery. Insurance is covering most of the surgery but there are still significant upfront fees that I need to pay, including funds for travel and housing as well as post-surgery recovery expenses. Dysphoria is a void in my core that warps all perceptions of self, as if this body is not wholly my own. Having access to this care would alleviate my dysphoria and dysmorphia considerably.
