Our community is grieving the loss of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, friend, teacher, coach and mentor, Jory Konrade.
Jory passed away Friday morning on his way to school as the result of a tragic, weather-related car accident.
Words can’t begin to express the heartache and pain that everyone is experiencing. This GoFundMe page is being set up to help with any and all expenses that the family may need.
Jory and his wife, Tamara, were high school sweethearts in the Abilene High School Class of 1991. They have four beautiful children - Braeden, Blayne, Halee, and Kyler.
Those who knew Jory knew that he was a follower of Christ and strong in his faith. He adored spending time with his wife and kids. You could find him hunting and fishing, singing, playing music, kayaking, attending sporting events, and playing games with his family and friends. He also enjoyed sharing his artistic talents with everyone.
Jory was a visual arts teacher and football coach at Prairie Hills Middle School. He also helped mentor hundreds of athletes who participated in all sports.
