Hi, this is Jessi on behalf of the Timm family. We are putting together this fundraiser for our mom, Jorja, as she embarks on her healing journey. Mom was given the diagnosis of cancer on June 1. It has been a journey of tests and waiting over the last month. What we know right now is that there is cancer in her colon and her liver and time is of the essence. Between the original discovery of having cancer and now, mom and dad have spent much time in prayer and research to decide what treatment plan felt right for them. They have decided to do an integrative alternative cancer treatment plan. They will be using a couple different facilities, one in Des Moines, Iowa and one in Cancun, Mexico. The Hope 4 Cancer Center in Mexico is an in patient treatment center that is faith based and offers a patient centered approach that uses state of the art technology. They feel that this is the best fit for mom as she tries to heal her body from this cancer. We know that God is the ultimate physician and He alone can heal her. They will step out in faith and do these treatments with full belief that if it is God’s will he will use them to heal her completely. We ask that you would pray with us for her healing and also that God would use her journey however he sees fit to further His kingdom.
