Hi, my name is Ruben Pacheco and I'm raising funds for my cousin Jorge Gonzalez. On August 10th, 2023 my cousin Jorge was a victim of a senseless shooting in Fayetteville, AR. The bullet shattered his skull and grazed his brain. Jorge has been in a coma since. The doctors have completed brain surgery/scans and are keeping him stable. We are raising funds to help with the unexpected medical bills and loss of financial earnings as both of his parents are at his bedside and waiting tirelessly for answers. Our family is working hard to ensure Jorge’s return home.

On the same night he was injured he became an uncle to his first niece. Jorge has yet to meet her and our family is doing all that we can to support both Jorge and his sibling during this crisis.

Jorge is known to be a hard worker, talented dancer, comedic, and good spirited. He is characterized as a person that can light up any room. He was labeled a class clown and always there to help friends emotionally, and financially even when he doesn’t have much to offer. He has an interest in the HVAC field and spends hours working with licensed technicians and family members. He is a family guy and spends time with family when he is not working. He is the youngest of his sibling group and loved by many. His parents are his biggest supporters.

Our family is thankful that he is in stable condition, but he will endure a long hospital stay. It is unkown how long his recovery will take and what that will look like. His case is being investigated and there is not much our family can do right now other than pray for Jorge to make a strong recovery.
