Jorge’s Medical & Legal Bills - BLM Protest

On August 24th of 2020, Jorge Bello was assaulted and knocked unconscious by Portland police officers for peacefully protesting the murder of George Floyd and countless others in the black community. In the ensuing months, medical bills from the incident have piled on, including the ambulance bill it took to take Jorge to the hospital. Legal bills, in trying to charge the officers that were responsible, have also piled on. There have been many physical, mental, and emotional issues that have come from all of this.
