Jorge's healing fund
Donation protected
This is Jorge Saxon. He is 16, a smart, kind, and thoughtful kid worried for social justice and the environment. Jorge dreams of studying computer programing at Stanford and one day have an animal shelter. Last October, he was unfortunately diagnosed with Erwin Sarcoma, a rare type of bone Cancer. The tumor is in his spinal cord. He is currently undergoing Chemotherapy in Mexico City and has a long road ahead to fight this illness. He will need a surgery to remove the tumor and probably a reconstruction of a vertebra. I have been a friend of Jorge's Mom since elementary school and wanted to help by setting this fund. Jorge and his family (Mom and Grand-mom) had to relocate from Veracruz to Mexico City for the duration of the treatment. Even if they have health insurance, many expenses will not be covered.
Life is so unfair and wretched sometimes. Please consider donating to help him. All the money raised will be used by Jorge, his Mom or Grand-Mom to cover medical bills for his treatment, living costs and travel expenses required in the upcoming months. Anything and everything helps. Thank you!
