4 years ago my family faced a financial catastrophe, I was left without a place to live and alternating hotel rooms and family's homes. I am now a Senior at Manual Arts High School in South LA and will be enrolling at Harvard University in the Fall.

I've been witness to the financial disparities that are ever present in a community like mine, an internship in a Public Finance firm later and I have cemented my Career goals. I intend to pursue Economics at Harvard for my undergraduate study, then I wish to pursue a Master's Degree in Public Policy. With this I want to jump into local government to address fiscal policy as a financial advisor, hopefully to one day work at the Federal Reserve.

4 years ago a rather difficult situation enlightened me to the importance of Education, and since then I have kept immaculate grades, near perfect test scores, and have led every other activity at my school.
I've managed to make my mark, and I'm asking for a bit of support so that when I do have the honor of Studying in Boston, I will have a reserve of funds for books and a computer.
