Jorge E. Alvarado, 12 year Army Veteran and loving father/husband successfully battled brain and colon cancer since July 2014. However, the brain surgery that Jorge underwent resulted in scar tissue that causes severe epileptic seizures. These seizures have prevented him from living a normal life and  as of now he can no longer talk, eat, use the restroom, drive or any other activities that we take for  granted without proper supervision and assistance. 

Our goal is to bring Jorge home so that his wife, Myrtha Alvarado, can continue to work and provide the medical insurance that Jorge requires.

However, the medical insurance does not cover the appropriate home care. The  goal of $10,000 is to cover 2 months of certified nursing care and the at-home medical equipment. 

Any and all donations are tremendously appreciated.  We will continously update Jorge's friends and family on his progress with pictures and videos. With the help of his loved ones, Jorge Alvarado can continue to live a long life with the care and dignity that he deserves.
