Our beloved father, Jorge, passed away on Friday, November 24th, in the afternoon, surrounded by family and loved ones. His life's work was dedicated to repairing and maintaining people's homes, ensuring the buildings he worked on were well-kept. He found joy in his profession because it allowed him to connect with people on a personal level. Witnessing the impact he had on others, I've come to realize that he was truly a man of the people—humble and always ready to serve.

The suddenness of this event has left us with little time to fully comprehend it. However, with the support of our extended family and friends, we have felt accompanied and truly blessed to have such a strong support system. In advance, we express our gratitude to everyone who not only donates but also shares this, helping it reach those who may have crossed paths with our dad and wish to bid him a final farewell.

To address the sudden costs, we are seeking support for our father's funeral expenses. The funds raised will contribute to the viewing, scheduled to take place at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges. More details, about the viewing and when it will be held, will be provided on Wednesday afternoon. Any surplus funds will be allocated to fulfill my dad's final wish of transporting his ashes back to El Salvador, where he desired to rest alongside his parents.

Nuestro querido padre, Jorge, falleció el viernes 24 de noviembre por la tarde, rodeado de familiares y seres queridos. Su vida laboral estuvo dedicada a reparar y mantener los hogares de las personas, asegurando el buen estado de los edificios en los que trabajaba. Encontraba alegría en su profesión porque le permitía conectarse con la gente a un nivel personal. Al presenciar el impacto que tenía en los demás, me di cuenta de que era verdaderamente un hombre del pueblo: humilde y siempre dispuesto a servir.

Lo repentino de este evento nos ha dejado poco tiempo para comprenderlo completamente. Sin embargo, con el apoyo de nuestra familia y amigos, nos sentimos acompañados y verdaderamente bendecidos de contar con un sistema de apoyo tan fuerte. De antemano, expresamos nuestro agradecimiento a todos los que no solo donan, sino que también comparten esto, ayudando a que llegue a quienes se hayan cruzado con nuestro papá y deseen darle un último adiós.

Para hacer frente a los costos repentinos, estamos buscando apoyo para los gastos del funeral de nuestro padre. Los fondos recaudados contribuirán al velatorio, programado en el Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges. El miércoles por la tarde, se proporcionarán más detalles sobre la visualización y cuándo se llevará a cabo. Los fondos excedentes se destinarán a cumplir el último deseo de mi padre de transportar sus cenizas de regreso a El Salvador, donde deseaba descansar junto a sus padres.
