Dear family, friends, and community,
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the death of Jorge Perez Hernandez. With his passing, he has left behind his 5 children, Jorge Perez Jr (26), Sergio Perez(24), Alicia Perez (18), Janette Perez (15), and Michelle Perez (7), and his 4 grandchildren. For those of you that knew our father, you knew that he was a fighter. Jorge Perez Hernandez fought till the very end, so much so, that none of us thought it was the end just yet. He was 50 years old.
Jorge Perez Hernandez was a humble man who brightened the lives of so many with his unique laugh, sense of humor, and selfless means of carrying himself.
He was one of a kind. Heaven truly gained an angel.
As you can imagine, my family was not at all prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a proper funeral service and burial. That is why I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you’ll show your support for my father and our family .
So you know exactly where your donation will be used, we are planning a modest but proper ceremony. Every little bit helps.

Estimada familia, amigos y comunidad, Es con gran pesar que anuncio la muerte de Jorge Perez Hernandez. Con su fallecimiento ha dejado atrás a sus 5 hijos, Jorge Perez Jr (26), Sergio Perez (24), Alicia Perez (18), Janette Perez (15) y Michelle Perez (7), y sus 4 nietos. Para aquellos de ustedes que conocieron a nuestro padre, sabían que era un luchador. Jorge Perez Hernandez luchó hasta el final, tanto que ninguno de nosotros pensó que era el final todavía. Tenía 50 años.
Jorge Perez Hernandez fue un hombre humilde que iluminó la vida de tantos con su risa única, sentido del humor y su personalidad.
Él era único en su clase. El cielo verdaderamente ganó un ángel.
Como se puede imaginar, mi familia no estaba preparada para la carga financiera que conlleva un funeral y un entierro adecuados. Es por eso que me comunico con todos ustedes con la esperanza de que muestren su apoyo a mi padre y nuestra familia.
Para que sepa exactamente dónde se utilizará su donación, estamos planeando una ceremonia modesta pero adecuada. Cada poquito ayuda.
