Hello all, most of you know me, I am Steve Johnson, my wife and I own a Small Business in San Jose, CA, South Bay Driveline (Now headed up by my awesome Son Steve Jr. (but don't call him Jr.)! We have been in business since 1997 after working for someone else in the same field (Drive Shaft Manufacturing and Repair) for a previous 15 years. We have 5 rescues, 2 cats, 3 dogs (1 of which rules the house, her name is "Her Highness Princessa Coconibs Johnson"...and if one addresses her, one must bow or curtsy, as she IS Royalty...and German Shepher Lab Husky Mix, who Rescued US nearly 9 years ago...I was going to post her picture, but she is not what this GoFundMe is all about, it is about Jorge Leonardo...an extremely good friend of mine, who is a Mexican National in San Felipe. Jorge has been needing a knee operation for the last 2 years and has been continually stalled by IMSS (Mexican Govt Health Services), he has been supporting his family (his whole family) for most of his working life, and while the IMSS is supposedly willing to get him fixed...he just can not wait any longer. He is in constant pain, sitting, walking, working...whatever he does...it is painful. Jorge has a Full Time Job, working as a waiting at a local Restaurant (Those who read this from San Felipe know him, as he has been around SF for decades)...I met him at "The Brothers Corner" when it was in full swing. He is a very dear friend of mine, so I agreed to try to get him some funding, to relieve his pain. Jorge always seems to have a Happy Face on...but those who are close to him, know that he is just wearing a mask. If you can, please help with this funding...nearly ALL of you who have visited the Restaurant where he works has had the pleasure of his attentiveness and professional courtesy. If anyone deserves a bit of help, it is this Hard Working, Amiable, Honest (to a fault) friend of mine. I will start this funding off with matching the first series of donations up to 1000.00 - usually I do this anomynously, but for transparency on this promise, I will not. For those concerned individuals, I personally will be paying the Doctor with 100 percent of the funding that is received (minus the processing fee that is NOT by GoFundMe, but by the Processing Company who makes sure the funds are deposited into the correct bank account).
