It is with deep sadness and sorrow that my family and I mourn the passing of my father, Jorge Canto. My father was kind and always saw the good in the people he loved . My father taught us the importance of always doing the right thing, even if no one is watching . He was dedicated, patient and understanding. His loss has left an emptiness in our hearts that we only hope can be filled by our memories and celebrations of his life. My father will be laid to rest in our hometown Merida, Yucatan, Mexico . This fundraiser is to help with funeral and travel expenses. On behalf of our family, we would like to thank everyone for your prayers, generosity, and kindness. We will continue to live with the lessons, laughter, and love that my father so gracefully brought into our lives.

My father is survived by his devoted wife, Miriam; son, George ; daughters, Fabiola and Wendy; and grandson, William.
