Jorge A Del Cid’s Funeral Expenses

My name is Michelle Del Cid and I’m setting up this GoFundme as a way to help pay for funeral expenses for my father and beloved patriarch, Jorge Adolfo Del Cid, who passed away on March 15, 2023. It has left a devastating hole in my family that will never be filled.

Jorge successfully battled with diabetes and a heart condition for years and seemed in very good condition and spirits until about two weeks ago when he began having back pain and weakness on one side of his body. Doctors at the ER couldn’t figure out what caused this sudden decline and sent him home without an explanation. A hard worker to the very end, he passed away peacefully at his home on the morning after returning from his shift.

No one is ever fully prepared for life’s challenges and we would greatly appreciate any financial help to cover funeral costs. The cost of the services amount to about $6000 and that includes funeral service, memorial service and everything it entails, and urn.

Jorge was a fierce father, husband, and human being. There was never a person in need that he didn’t help, or a new friend he didn’t hesitate to make. He was curious about everyone’s story. He loved his family above all, and he refused life to keep him down.

Jorge fue un hombre íntegro, honesto, amante fiel de la vida. Amaba a los animales, la comida, y a su familia. Se aferraba a sus ideales con pasión y convicción. Fue un hombre fuerte y nunca se dejó vencer a pesar de todas las adversidades.

Nuestra vida nunca será igual. Y llevaremos siempre en nuestro corazón todos los momentos y enseñanzas que nos dejó. Su partida nos deja un vacío grande que únicamente podremos llenar con el recuerdo de su entereza. Gracias por ser la inspiración para todos los que le amamos.
