Please Help Jordyn & Her Family Through This Difficult Time!
In a senseless act of violence by someone she once trusted, 15 year old Jordyn Prochilo was, tragically, shot in the head. Miraculously, she survived the incident but it has become clear that she will need months, if not years, of care to heal from this traumatic experience.
Jordyns mother Lauren, still reeling from the death of her partner and love of her life EJ from kidney disease, has been struggling to make ends meet though the pandemic and was dealt another blow while she was in the hospital, sitting by her daughters side, wondering if she was going to survive.
Because she needed to take time from work to be with Jordyn... Instead of understanding her situation, she was terminated from her place of employment. Now this family is hovering on the brink of financial devastation, along with dealing with the tragedy of needless gun violence.
Lauren is already taking the steps to find employment but, as a single mother of three children, she ALSO needs to be there for Jordyns recovery. Every donation would go to making sure they keep a roof over their heads and food on the table while Jordyn heals from this trauma.
