Jordyn’s Journey with Alexander disease
Donation protected
Jordyn is a sweet, sassy, & vibrant young girl diagnosed with Alexander disease, a terminal leukodystrophy.
Jordyn was hospitalized for 75 days in September-November of 2023 and had to have a tracheostomy. Jordyn now requires around the clock care. The family is unable to find stable nursing so Jordyn’s mom had to leave her teaching job to be Jordyn’s full time caregiver.
The family travels to St. Louis every month for numerous appointments. Jordyn’s dad works full time and cares for Jordyn’s baby brother when Jordyn is in the hospital.
The family is in need of your love and support as medical bills, travel expenses, and loss in wages begin to put a strain on the family. Every little bit helps. If you’re unable to donate, we’d appreciate you sharing Jordyn’s story via social media. Thank you for your support.
We will continue to share updates on her progress on our Caring Bridge webpage.
