Jordy Morgan, rock climber, metalworker, and beloved Healdsburg community member suffered a hard blow last week when he was driving home from climbing in Saint Helena and a driver crossed into his lane and hit him head on. He suffered a serious leg injury along with broken ribs and a broken nose. He was taken from Napa Hospital to UC Davis Medical Center for surgery but thankfully he has a fighting spirit and is now safely home. As an artist and metal worker Jordy has given his energy and talents to the community, organizing bicycle rides and volunteering to grill food on his custom welded shawarma bike. After the wildfires moved through his beloved climbing grounds he went back to check the routes he had once put up to make sure the pins were safe. It will be several months before Jordy can bear weight on his leg and he will need rehab before he can get back to work. We want to wrap him, his daughter Zuzu, and his loving partner, Karin Tredrea in a web of love. Any donations to help support him and his family during this time would be greatly appreciated.
