After suffering a serious ACL knee injury back in February, Farnborough Football Club would like to support Jordan as best as possible to assist with rehabilitation costs.

Jordan's Story

After recently suffering a serious ACL knee injury while playing for Farnborough Football Club, I'm now facing a really difficult situation both physically and financially.

I'm 32-years-old and football has always been a huge part of my life. Unfortunately, I've completely ruptured my ACL, which means I need reconstructive surgery followed by a long rehabilitation process that can take up to a year to recover properly.

In a couple of month's time I'll be out of contract and not receiving income, so I have to pay for the surgery privately as well as cover all of my own physiotherapy, rehab, and living costs during recovery. The operation costs £13k alone. Without the operation and proper rehab, I won't be able to return to playing, working, or supporting my family the way I should.

This has come at a really tough time for me personally, as I also have an 8-month-old son, and my biggest goal is to get back to full fitness so I can keep working, stay active, and be there for him as he grows up.

The money raised will go towards:

• ACL reconstruction surgery

• Hospital and specialist fees

• Physiotherapy and rehabilitation for up to 12 months

• Scans, consultations, and recovery equipment

• Everyday living costs while I'm unable to work

Recovery from this kind of injury is a long road, and asking for help isn't easy, but any support at all would mean a huge amount to me and my family.
