Our sweet and strong Jordan has been admitted to Houston Medical Center and will be hospitalized for the next 15 weeks, God willing, due to a serious pregnancy complication called pPROM (preterm premature rupture of membranes). Her doctors are doing everything they can to help her make it to at least 22 weeks so her baby girl has a chance of survival — but the goal is to keep her safely growing in the womb until at least 34 weeks.

Jordan is now facing the unimaginable: weeks away from home, separated from her 6½-year-old son, while trying to carry her daughter as long as possible. She’ll remain in the hospital until delivery, and in the meantime, the bills are piling up. After having to have family move her out of her apartment she is still responsible for her car note and insurance, childcare for her son — all while bracing for the massive medical expenses that come with long-term hospitalization. Jordan had plans of saving up for a few months to move into a home with her boyfriend and to be all settled in before baby Rae arrived. Now unable to work or save she will have to wait untill she is out of the hospital to figure out her growing family’s next move. The stress has Ben overwhelming for her since she is one to have everything in her life all planned out. Any donations will help with bills, and getting Jordan back on her feet when returning home from hospitalization. 

Before this, Jordan was a hard-working student close to finishing her clinical hours. She’s always been the kind of person who puts everyone else first — kind, giving, and so full of love. Now she needs that love returned.
