Jordan's Hike of a Lifetime…

Hello, my name is Carla, proud mother of Jordan. Some of you may be familiar with his story, but let me take you back to 2016, when he was diagnosed with a low-grade, inoperable glioma brain tumor. Despite its benign nature, it was not without numerous challenges including seizures and anxiety, impacting his overall wellbeing.
Jordan was initially prescribed conventional medicine. The seizure medication he was on had severe repercussions, leading him to explore the alternative option, CBD, which provided relief. However, in his attempt to alleviate crippling anxiety, he was advised and prescribed pharmaceutical medication... during the Covid pandemic. He decided to give western medicine another try. The results of that wreaked utter chaos.
By the end of 2022, Jordan and I collectively made the decision to cease these medications and undergo detoxification. Yet, as with any abrupt cessation, he faced unimaginable side effects and various symptoms that manifested negatively.
This GoFundMe campaign is in support of Jordan's journey toward organic healing and advocating for a path of self-recovery in a world that's more often reliant on synthetic remedies that perpetuate dependency on a system that I find quite questionable, and that hinders true self-restoration. I deeply believed and still believe in this approach and feel compelled to find ways to support my son in seeking genuine solutions and rebuilding his cerebral health.
Jordan embarked on his transformative journey on the Pacific Crest Trail on February 29, 2024. He was actually the very first person on trail this year, and is braving it solo. To date, he has now covered over 300 miles of high winds, rain, snow, and sunshine with the resilience of a determined soldier on a mission.
Funds raised will be managed by me and utilized as necessary to replace food and supplies as needed, i.e. clothing and gear to support weather changes and care packages to see Jordan through his journey- to reach at least the northern-most terminus of California, making his journey a total of 1,670 miles on the PCT.
As a mother and a health and self-healing advocate, I wholeheartedly support this journey and my "big picture" vision is naturally my son's absolute recovery, but hopefully inspiring others toward their own journey of self, organic healing.
"We are all perfectly imperfect. That is what should be rejoiced!"
With much Love and Gratitude,
Carla
