Jordan's Fight Against Ewing's Sarcoma.

On March 18, 2020, just days after the schools closed due to the Pandemic, Jordan went to the hospital with what was thought to be an asthma attack. Once there, they found masses in his lungs. They then went searching and he was diagnosed with Metastasized Ewing’s Sarcoma and began treatment in April 2020. At the start of this journey it was all over his pelvis, left femur and lungs. After many rounds of Chemotherapy, Jordan's tumours began to shrink and by December 2020 they had all but disappeared. On 10th February 2021 Jordan rang the bell to declare he was Cancer free!

In March 2022 scan results returned with the news of a new 6cm tumour located on Jordan's pelvis and he began Chemotherapy again in April 2022, by September 2022 the tumour had shrunk to around 3cm x 3cm. Scans showed that Jordan's lungs were now clear of Cancer, but more scans and therapies to stem and shrink the growth of the existing tumour on his pelvis. In December 2022 the tumour had shrunk again to 2.4cm & he was booked in for more scans and therapies in January 2023. These scans showed a tumour on Jordan's pancreas which was tackled with radiation therapy.

Sadly, On August 10th 2023 they found a new growth on his liver and a tumour around the bile duct and small intestine. He is experiencing jaundice, pain, nausea and vomiting. Jordan was admitted to the hospital and has seen his oncologist. He currently has an external drain, to take bile from his liver so he doesn't develop sepsis. Chemotherapy begins again hopefully Monday 28th August 2023.

To date, Jordan has had 30 rounds of chemotherapy and 3 months of radiotherapy.

I am raising money for Jordan and his family to be able to cover medical expenses, travel expenses to and from appointments, loss of income from time off work, hospital meals, hospital parking fees, things that Jordan would like to go and do when he has the energy and anything extra they need in between.
