Jordan's FFS and Recovery Fund

Hello there,
My name is Jordan and I'm a trans woman living in a small town in northwest Washington, where I’m self employed as a shipwright. In late July, I’ll now undergo my second surgery, after an amazing but long recovery from my first in February. Many of you know I've been working to secure these surgeries for the past 2 years, and my insurance has finally approved them, with the surgeon I was hoping to work with, which is all great news. However, leaving work for another month or so, in addition to covering the co-pay has brought me here, asking you and whoever you might know, for some help. Given my job is so physically demanding, I won't be able to return to work on the lower estimates of recovery time without risking damage to the beautiful work being done by my lovely surgeon. In addition, my surgeries will take place in Seattle, where I'll have to spend at least a few days after the surgery, followed by check ups and travel. These funds will help all of this go smoothly - travel, recovery, care, covering bills, etc. Any small amount helps and is deeply appreciated.
It's difficult to express in words how meaningful getting these surgeries is to me. It will fundamentally alter my life for the better, and I can't express how grateful I am to everyone who has helped get me here, and for seeing me through this next stage in my journey. This whole process has not only made me more attuned to myself, but to so many of you, and that is something I hold so close. Thank you and I love you all.❤️
