Hi, my name is Shannon Zornes-Hedge, and I am asking for donations for my niece, Jordann Nicole Brown. She passed away on October 21st in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am hoping to receive donations to cover expenses and arrangements to bring Jordann back home to Wheelersburg, Ohio to be with her family. Jordann was the daughter of Lisa Zornes-Brown and Dean Brown. She is survived by her two brothers Tyler Brown and Zach Brown and her stepfather Tom Slye. Jordann was a 2009 graduate of Wheelersburg High School. She will be missed deeply by her friends and family. Any amount is appreciated and a blessing to the family. Thank you.
Jordann Nicole Brown, 33, of Wheelersburg, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, while residing in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a 2009 graduate of Wheelersburg High School. She was a fiercely loyal friend, an animal lover, and a talented and hard-working employee. Jordann found comfort with her family, friends, and loved ones. Jordann was a strong-willed woman who learned many hard lessons in this world. She was a survivor of domestic and substance abuse and fought daily in hopes of a better future. Jordann left this world determined to not be a victim but to be someone her family was proud of. Jordann’s absence from this life will be felt by friends and family until they all meet again.
Jordann is survived by her best friend and mother, Lisa Zornes-Brown of Wheelersburg, her father Dean Brown of Cincinnati, and her stepfather, Thomas Slye Jr., of Wheelersburg. She will be greatly missed by her brothers, Tyler (Kayla) Brown and Zachary (Mallory) Brown, and her beautiful niece, Emie. Jordann was very excited to learn that Emie would be a big sister. Jordann’s uncles and aunts will miss her strong spirit and beautiful smile. Cousins by relation but so much more in life. Cameron (Andy) Zornes of Minford, Casey (Jason) Bester of Wheelersburg, Dakotah Large of Florida, Chase Music and Brigham Spreacker of Coal Grove, Jenna & Kaylyn Zornes of Coal Grove, and Lilly Zornes of Wheelersburg. She is also survived by Helen Bowen, her grandmother.
Jordann’s best friends, Kari (son-Ben) Nelson and Rae (son-Bronson) Frazier, will feel her absence the hardest but know that JJ will be watching from above. She was met with open arms by her grandparents. Bob & Linda Zornes, Thomas & Lois Slye, Sr., Roger Brown, and Frank Bowen, and her uncle Chuck Brown.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
