Please help support Vicky Bradshaw and Dave Mungul as they help their son Jordan recover from a life altering experience.
At 3 days shy of being 4 months old my god son Jordan suffered a subdural hematoma on Friday April 15, 2016. He was taken to Calvert hospital and in a race against time was air lifted to Children's hospital where he underwent an emergency craniotomy, which required removal of part of his skull to relieve the pressure on his brain. Against all odds he survived that surgery!!!
In the days to follow he suffered many seizures, blood transfusion and a stroke. Thanks to the amazing team of doctors and nurses at Children's hospital he is finally taking a turn for the better. But the road to recovery will be long. He's like a brand new Jordan all the milestones he once reached will have to be relearned through therapy. He will require medication for months to control his seizures while his brain heals. He will also need to wear a helmet for an undetermined length of time while his skull heals from the surgery.
This tragic event has turned this family upside down. They face so many hurdles in the future to ensure this tough little guy makes a full recovery. They could use all the help they can get to help with all the copays and missed time from work to be there to support Jordan through this process.
