God has been working on my heart and in my life for the past year and a half… He’s used scripture, prayer, and people in my life to guide and direct me into His call to Pastor a church one day.

I knew I was called to ministry in 2011 when I worked immediately following high school at my church in Orlando full time as an intern for just $50 a week. My friends and even some family thought I was crazy, but the truth is I would have done it for free. Fast forward to now; I’ve been the worship leader at Orlando Baptist Church for two years and I absolutely love it! 

This was with out a doubt the scariest decision I’ve ever made in my life, but I made it with much prayer and full of peace from God and faith in Him. This isn’t necessarily the smartest business move for my life… I’m leaving a full time salary, the church I love so deeply, my girlfriend, my friends, my family, and the comfort I have being home… but I’ve found during this time that when you're doing what God has called you to do, there's a sweetness even in the sacrifice. 

I want to follow His call no matter the cost… but I really can’t do it on my own.

I need your help.

Here’s the breakdown:

My total tuition cost for 3 years is 14,700 dollars

Plus 1,631 dollars for 3 years of  Australian Health care

Then they say I need to show up with an extra 3,000 dollars for IKEA bed room and bathroom things that I can not fly with, cell phone plan, and just in case finding a part job doesn’t happen as quickly as I would like.

I know what you’re thinking… thats almost 20,000 dollars… and that not even including my plane ticket.

BUT I’m happy to tell you that I have my first semester paid for, the entire 3 years of health care paid for, and a one way plane ticket paid for already thanks to some very generous people with frequent flyer miles.

So all that remains is 14,975 dollars

BUT another really cool thing is that this cost is in Australian dollars, which converted to US dollars equals only 

$11,130.92

Thats as honest and open as I can possibly be. Just over $11,000 and I can chase after God’s call. 

I need to raise this money A.S.A.P. because I leave on July 13th!
