Jordan's Vision

Donation protected
On the 17th of August Jordan woke up with no vision in her right eye. After being sent from doctor to hospital, hospital to ophthalmologist, then to a retina specialist, she was diagnosed with a spontaneous vitreous hemorrhage. Rare in children, the specialist gave it a week before then referring us further to a pediatric retina specialist. Traveling to Greenbelt MD,  we are now seeing a world renowned doctor. Research shows a great percent of the time this can stem from an underlying disorder, sometimes with the blood.

On September 16th,  we traveled to see Dr. Sanders for the second time for the results from the extensive blood tests and chest x-rays. The tests, thankfully, came back negative for any traces of disease, autoimmune disorder or cancer. It is now surgery time and with this comes the expenses of travel, hotel stays, and numerous doctor visits for follow ups.

Surgery is scheduled for November 17, 2020!

Jordan has the biggest heart and is the strongest 12 year old I personally know. She has conquered all of this without hesitation and never falters from who she truly is. She overcomes obstacles daily that most do not think twice about with vision only in one eye. Please contribute to my best friend and Goddaughter as they tackle what we hope is the last obstacle in this terrifying journey.

Prayers and love are always appreciated!
