Support for Jordan Lampl and His Family

8-7 Jordan's brain ceased to function and the family chose to give the gift of life to others by donating his organs. There was an honor walk last night that you can view on Facebook. There are still ongoing expenses and medical bills as well as travel for the family. Please continue to share and lift the family up in prayer.

On Saturday, August 2nd, Jordan Lampl was in a serious motorcycle accident that has left him in critical condition with a severe traumatic brain injury.

He is currently in the ICU, sedated and on a ventilator. He has suffered multiple brain bleeds, facial fractures, a rib fracture, and a broken ankle. A bolt has been placed in his skull to monitor brain pressure, and his medical team is watching closely in case surgical intervention is needed.

As of now, there is no change in his condition, which—for now—is the best we can hope for. The family is holding onto hope and praying that the bleeding will stop and healing can begin.

Funds raised will go directly toward Jordan’s medical care, travel expenses for family, and any additional support needed during this difficult time.

Update from brother August 4: Jordan has fought as much as he can. The severity and extent of the damage in his brain and the pressure and damage to his brain stem show evidence that he will not recover. His vitals are diminishing and medications are keeping him alive along with being on the ventilator. His brain is not controlling body temperature as well as other vital functions that are diminishing or absent that the upper brain stem would normally control. We will be making the difficult decision within the next day of when the right time will be to have the doctors stop interventions.
