Jordan Hamilton Recovery Fund
Jordan Hamilton is a brilliant and beloved musician based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. On the morning of Thursday, August 19th, Jordan was in a car crash. He doesn’t yet know exactly what happened because after he came to a complete stop at an intersection, he was knocked out and the next thing he remembers was seeing his demolished car through the window of an ambulance. We will know more when we see the police report. Jordan broke his shoulder and he’s pretty banged up, but it is miraculous that he is not in worse shape, as his car is absolutely destroyed.
Not only is he in a lot of pain, but Jordan is faced with the reality of having to miss 2-3 months worth of gigs and all of the associated income. From his mentorship of youth to his beautiful performances to his award-winning recordings to his dedication to his friends and family, Jordan gives so much. Now is a moment where we can support him in a time of need.
My name is Seth Bernard, I am a close friend and frequent collaborator of Jordan’s. These funds raised will all go toward covering Jordan’s medical bills beyond what insurance covers (additional concussion therapy, medicines and physical therapy) and loss of income due to the accident (Jordan will not be able to work for at least 2-3 months after the accident). Jordan is going to be added to this fundraiser and will be able to withdraw the funds himself.
