Hello everyone! My name is Jordan Cramer, and I am grateful that you stopped by. I'd like to share with you who I am, and why I created this GoFundMe page.
My wife and I have been married for 8 years and have 2 beautiful daughters, ages 4 and 1. For over two years, I’ve been the Worship Pastor for the contemporary service at Wesley United Methodist Church (UMC) in Greenville, Texas. I have faithfully served in the U.M.C. for over fifteen years in various contexts such as youth, adult, and music ministry. Serving the church is not only my passion, but my calling.
My passion is to serve the United Methodist Church and to faithfully follow God's guidance. Since the summer of 2018, I have taken several faithful steps to get where I am today. After about a year, I came across Iliff School of Theology. This school offers a flexible, online program, while being a place that I feel loved, accepted, challenged and wanted. I'm proud to call Iliff my seminary school!
As of May 2021, I have completed my first year of seminary school with a 3.7 GPA. It's been one wild and interesting ride, but I feel I have learned so much within one year. This community is pushing and stretching me in ways I never thought possible, and I'm continuing to become a better person because of it. I'm faithfully heading in a direction I truly believe God is calling me into, and believe with the help of my friends/family, I can get there. So, I'm putting on a fundraising concert!
I'd like to share the breakdown for the cost of school so you know what you're donating to. According to Iliff, a full-time student can finish this degree program in three years (more information here: https://www.iliff.edu/ ). With that said, here is the breakdown:
-School: Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado.
-Degree Program: Masters of Divinity.
-Cost of Degree Program: Just under $60,000.
-Cost of Yearly Tuition: Just under $20,000.
-Cost of Tuition per Quarter: Just over $6,500.
Whether you attend the concert in-person or online, I would appreciate your financial support to help me reach my goal. Whatever you can give, your generous support will put me one step closer to the calling that God has placed on my heart of ordained ministry and help my family have one less financial burden to worry about.
