In Loving Memory of Jordan LaBarre

On behalf of the family and friends of Jordan LaBarre, we are heartbroken to share that her life was tragically taken in an act of domestic violence. Jordan was a bright light—compassionate, hardworking, and deeply devoted to those she loved. She was a fierce friend, a loving daughter and sister, and the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome. Her beloved dog, Lincoln, was never far from her side, and her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched.

Jordan’s sudden and violent passing has left her family in unimaginable grief. In the days following her death, they faced emotional and logistical challenges no one should have to endure—arranging for Jordan’s body to be transported across the country, delays and unexpected expenses, and trying to navigate all of this while holding each other up through shock and heartbreak.

This fund, Friends of Jordan LaBarre, was established by Jordan’s brother, Joshua LaBarre, extended family, and her close friends.

Funds raised here will go first toward helping with the extraordinary costs her family has borne to bring Jordan home and lay her to rest with dignity and love. Funds will also be used to support organizations that work to prevent domestic violence, assist survivors, and honor the lives of women like Jordan who are taken too soon.

Jordan believed in lifting people up. Through this fund, we hope to lift her name and spirit into something lasting and meaningful.
