Hello fitness family! My stay in Seattle has come to an end and there's no other community I'd rather have a final, distanced, event with than my fitness family.

For those that haven't known me since I moved here I'll give you a little synopsis. I moved here in 2014 at age 22, weighing 140 lbs, and 6 1/2 years into an opiate addiction. My sister took me in to her home and took me back to Rocket Crossfit where Alyssa and Brady welcomed me with open, loving arms and they helped nurse me to health and a year later even helped me become a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer! My first day coaching was the beginning of August 2015 and at the same time I had started rehearsing my first professional musical at ArtsWest Playhouse.

I enjoyed a few successful years of clean living, improved coaching, and further success in my career and passion of performing. In life, though, we have ebbs and flows and after learning my Dad had terminal cancer, then succumbing succumbing it four months later, I relapsed and had receded into myself becoming unreliable. Rocket gave me space to heal and treated me with nothing but love and understanding, and once I began the healing process I started to become more and more involved with NWCF/GLSC. With that relapse behind me I was able to gain a new family in the GLSC community and that really got cemented through the quarantine after I took over programming for awhile. Nate and Kate came in as new owners with such humility, grace, and tenacity we were all able to feed of of it and adapt to the new circumstances. I can't express enough how much it meant to be trusted by Nate and Kate to take on that responsibility, and it's one of the single best things to happen for me as a trainer, athlete, employee, and community member.

However, the quarantine killed the performing career momentarily. Even though I was fortunate enough to have the gyms and zoom classes to pay the bills the loss of income means that some needed, and essential things for the move couldn't happen like car breaks, bed, Yada Yada. Instead of pushing back the move I'm gonna jump in the fire with excitement and vigor, accepting the challenge and adventure; at least it'll be a warm one. Your donations are most welcome and will be used for needed things BUT please don't feel obligated to. A smile, a kind word, a 'whatever' you want to do I will be grateful for! Except don't give me things ill have to bring with me, my car has a weight limit and the breaks aren't great.

Thank you everyone. I love you all, and I'll be seeing you. :)
