Jordan Chaney, all donations go to the funeral

Hi, my name is Destiny Chavis I am fundraising for my brother Jordan Chaney.

Jordan Chaney was diagnosed with AML leukemia on September 21st, 2022 at 14 years old. He has gone through numerous chemotherapy sessions and blood transfusions to get his counts back to normal. In February of 2023, he went under surgery to get a Bone Marrow Transplant. Since then he struggled with recovery, after liver failure due to inflammation his kidneys failed shortly after resulting in fluid build up throughout his body and in his lungs. Needing to be put on a dialysis machine and breathing tube with 14 bags of medication going into him… On March 24th, 2023 the doctors tried doing a plasma infusion to get his blood pressure up but after 3 rounds it was unsuccessful. A day later we found out the infection got into his bloodstream… Jordan passed away after 8 hours of fighting to breathe on his own with no machines, no medicine, just his heart doing all it could at 6:44 am on March 28, 2023. He was not in pain, he passed peacefully with his family right there bedside. 

He was so strong through this whole journey

After Jordan’s passing, setting up the funeral arrangements has been very stressful especially financially. Jordan only had medical insurance so the hospital will only pay $1,500 for funeral costs leaving the rest to the family. (Papa and myself) so ANY donations you are able to make helps soo much. Every penny will go to the funeral and family so jordan can have the best memorial we love you SOOOO much Jordan and we know you are finally at peace, riding around riding your dirt bikes in heaven
