Bonjour,

Lors de mon voyage en Jordanie en 2017, j'ai été profondément touché par la situation critique des chiens errants. J'avais alors promis de revenir un jour pour en sauver un. Ceux qui me connaissent savent que je soutiens, de plusieurs manières, des fondations et des organisations œuvrant pour le bien-être animal, ici comme ailleurs. Cette fois-ci, c'est en Jordanie que je vais mener ma prochaine intervention.

Ce jour est enfin arrivé. Avec Johan, mon collègue de travail, nous partons pour Amman début mars. Johan a décidé de se joindre à moi dans cette mission de sauvetage. Nous avons prévu de ramener en sécurité deux chiots : un pour moi et un pour Johan ! Pour ma part, il s'agit de Bunduk, un jeune chiot de moins de 4 mois, qui a été sauvé des rues d'Amman, où il errait entre des voitures, et pris en charge par un refuge.

Le chiot de Johan est une jeune femelle d'à peine 8 semaines, qui, avec ses frères et sœurs, a été abandonnée dans une boîte près du refuge avec lequel nous collaborons pour notre mission.

Nous souhaitons soutenir ces deux refuges locaux en Jordanie, qui se battent chaque jour avec très peu de ressources pour offrir des soins aux animaux abandonnés. C'est pourquoi nous avons lancé une campagne GoFundMe afin d'apporter directement notre aide à ces refuges et de leur permettre de poursuivre leur travail. Chaque don, petit ou grand, aura un impact réel.

Soyez assurés que les fonds récoltés ne serviront en aucun cas à couvrir nos dépenses pour le sauvetage des deux chiots, mais seront intégralement destinés à ces deux refuges.

During my trip to Jordan in 2017, I was deeply moved by the dire situation of stray dogs. I promised myself then that I would one day return to save one. Those who know me are aware that I support animal welfare foundations and organizations in various ways, both locally and internationally. This time, my next mission will be in Jordan.

That day has finally come. Together with Johan, my work colleague, we are heading to Amman at the beginning of March. Johan has decided to join me on this rescue mission. We plan to bring back two puppies safely: one for me and one for Johan! As for me, I am adopting Bunduk, a young puppy under 4 months old, who was rescued from the streets of Amman where he was wandering between cars before being taken in by a shelter.

Johan’s puppy is a young female barely 8 weeks old. She, along with her siblings, was abandoned in a box near the shelter with which we are collaborating for our mission.

We want to support these two local shelters in Jordan, which struggle daily with very few resources to provide care for abandoned animals. That is why we have launched a GoFundMe campaign to directly help these shelters and enable them to continue their work. Every donation, big or small, will have a real impact.

Rest assured that the funds raised will not, under any circumstances, be used to cover our expenses for rescuing the two puppies. They will be entirely allocated to these two shelters.
