So a little about me. My name is Jonathan Davenport, born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have always taken an interest in medicine since a very young age. However, throughout my life, I have come across many road blocks, both induced by me and others that were out of my control.

While attending Indiana University for my undergraduate studies, I majored in biochemistry with the intention of going to medical school, but I quickly got off track from my studies. Also, during the market crash of 2008, my mother lost her house, which was a heavy impact on me. Then at the age of 28, I had to have open heart surgery due to a defect that I had since birth. I don’t mention these things for people to feel sorry me. I mention this, because in spite of all of these set backs, and other set backs not mentioned, once I made up my mind that I would get back on track and go to medical school, I chased that dream relentlessly. After many years of repairing my gpa and overcoming different trials, my time finally came. I got accepted into medical school!

The issue now is, the acceptance is conditional. I have to first complete the school’s pre-medical program, essentially proving my worth to be there. As long as I do good in the program, then I am automatically in. Here is where you come in. There is no financial aid for the pre-medical program. So I am asking you to please help me go to medical school. I’ve finally reached this point to move forward with my dream, and your donation will help make that happen. Thank you so much!
