Jon made the USA Down Syndrome National Swim team and qualified to go to the World Down Syndrome Swimming Championship in Portugal in October 2022!

USA Down Syndrome Swimming is a young organization, so the swimmers must self-fund their trip to the championship. Dave and I were selected to be team chaperones, so we must fund our trip as well. The money raised through this campaign will go towards plane fare and accommodations for Jon and the chaperones, and for the equipment he needs for training. If we exceed our fundraising goal, all extra funds will be donated to the USA Down Syndrome Swimming to help cover the cost of sending our coaches to the championship.
