Our friend Jon is a beloved son and brother, and a big part of his team at work. Jon recently had a seizure and was found by his mother, Marie. Jon was taken by ambulance to Brockton Hospital. After undergoing some testing, he was med-flighted to Boston Medical Center, where he was diagnosed with a Low-Grade Glioma, a tumor in his brain which has been causing bleeding and seizures.
We do not know yet if the tumor is cancerous or benign. Jon will be having a procedure on Monday, October 13, to try to remove as much of the mass as possible. The medical team expects to have a better idea of whether the tumor is cancerous or not once they conduct the procedure.
Jon's mother Marie, his father John, and his brother Joseph have been a big support for him. At work, he is known as "Big Jon." His friends, family, and coworkers are cheering him on. We will appreciate any help you can offer for our friend.
