Jhon's Journey: From Fire to Recovery

Let's help Jon Royer get on his feet and build back! (If you have VENMO, please donate via his VENMO acct found on his fb page, Jhon Royal instead of here.) The night of Jan 8th, Jon awoke to his home on fire, and tragically lost his home, workshop, a vehicle and ALL of his lifes possessions. Those who know Jon, know he's an incredibly hard worker. He's worked for years to build his beautiful sustainable home, off grid, by hand. This was a masterpiece of his brilliant ingenuity. He's currently hunkering down in an old boat on property bc he doesn't want to leave his beloved cats. Some ran off and he's hoping to be there when they return. Any leads or donations on a travel trailer that he can borrow or have while he builds back would be greatly appreciated as we can't convince him to leave the property overnite. Jon is very private and may or may not access emergency resources that may be available. Aside from shock and burns on his hands, he's physically ok, just trying to process it all. The Red Cross went to check on him and brought him some emergency supplies...thank you to this wonderful organization. We ll do our best to make updates on Facebook, along w shoe and clothing sizes and a list of needs. Lagoon Pontoons and Panama City Dive Center will serve as donation points for smaller, material donations. Thank you!
